Luna Grill is planning another round of growth in metro Phoenix, with at least three additional restaurants expected before the end of 2026. The San Diego based Mediterranean chain is looking at new locations in Tempe, Avondale, and north Phoenix.

The north Phoenix restaurant is expected near the fast growing area around TSMC's semiconductor campus. A proposed Luna Grill location in that part of the city had previously been tied to a planned retail development near Dove Valley Road.

The new restaurants would follow Luna Grill's first Arizona entries in Mesa and Gilbert. Company leadership sees more room for the brand in the Phoenix market, with the current three planned restaurants representing only part of its Arizona growth plans.

Luna Grill was founded in 2004 by Sean and Maria Pourteymour. The restaurant serves Mediterranean inspired quick service meals, including kabobs, bowls, salads, pitas, family meals, and dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and made to order cooking.

The brand now operates more than 50 restaurants across California, Texas, and Arizona. Exact opening dates for the planned Tempe, Avondale, and north Phoenix restaurants were not included in the provided material, but all three are expected to arrive before 2026 ends.
